Donald Trump: Whatever happens in the future, we are winning this war - 1

US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that "regardless" of the outcome of negotiations between his country and Iran, "we are winning", AFP reports.

Commenting on the ongoing talks between the two countries in Islamabad as he left the White House, Trump said that "maybe they will make a deal, maybe they won't. It doesn't matter. From America's perspective, we're winning." Asked about speculation that China might send Iran a ship with military aid, Trump warned that "if China does that, there's going to be big trouble." Donald Trump said his country had defeated Iran in every military aspect. Speaking to reporters as he left the White House, Trump insisted that after the US airstrikes, Iran no longer had a navy, an air force, radar systems or leadership, noting that former Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was "not there. He ruled for many years; he's not there anymore." Trump added of the US-Iran talks, stressing that "with all of that... from my perspective, I don't care."
