On Thursday, Donald Trump reacted cautiously when asked in a radio interview whether he was "still 100% with Israel" after his speech last month, in which he warned the Jewish state to "finish" his war against "Hamas" in the Gaza Strip, informs "New York Post".
"You must return to normality and peace. The whole world is blowing up with this idiotic president we have," the 77-year-old former president told conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt, BTA reported.
"He's an idiot. He's the dumbest president we've ever had. He is the most corrupt and the most incompetent. And he's the worst president we've ever had, many times over," Trump added about his election rival. "If you put together the 10 worst presidents in history, they didn't do the damage this guy did.
"Are you still 100 percent with Israel?" Hewitt asked. "And what is your advice to [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu other than "Get it over with quickly"?"
"Well, that's all the advice you can give," Trump replied. "I mean that's the advice. You need to get over this and get back to normal.
The former president added that "I'm not sure I like the way he" Israel conducts its offensive and manages the global response.
"You have to get a win, and that takes a long time," he said. "And the other thing I hate is that they keep putting out records. Every night they play recordings of a falling building. They shouldn't be releasing records like that. They do, that's why they lose the PR war. They, Israel are absolutely losing the PR war."
After leaving the White House, Trump distanced himself from Netanyahu, complaining that he had "let us down" by conceding Biden's victory in the 2020 election, according to the "New York Post".
