Russian investigators have found over 44 million rubles and three hundred thousand US dollars in the home of a wanted citizen of Azerbaijan, suspected of murdering a Muscovite because of parking, TASS reported, referring to a message from the main investigation department of Russia, BTA reported.
The search was carried out that night. "During the search of the suspect's apartment, a large amount of available cash was found and seized - over 44 million rubles and three hundred thousand dollars," the message says. The investigation will establish their owner, as well as whether they were legally acquired and what they were intended for.
On April 17, a 24-year-old Muscovite made a remark to a 21-year-old driver of a motor vehicle for parking his vehicle on a sidewalk in front of an apartment block, TASS describes the case. In response to the remark, the driver of the vehicle stabbed the Muscovite with a knife and then fled. The victim died of his wounds in the hospital.
The agency states that the identity of the attacker has been established - it is the citizen of Azerbaijan, Shahin Abbasov, who, according to the information of the Investigative Committee, resides in Russia illegally. The perpetrator is wanted. The investigators detained his father, as well as his friend.
