Two cargo planes from Russia have delivered military equipment to Niger, the state-run Niger TV.
In the report of the television channelTele Sahel it is said that “in less than a month, Russia sent three cargo flights to transport military equipment and several instructors in Niamey”. The flights also delivered humanitarian aid to the residents of Niger, the TV channel noted.
Earlier, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin noted that the United States is monitoring the situation in Niger regarding the American base and monitoring whether alleged Russian specialists have access of American military equipment in this African country.
