The Russian army for the first time used on front, a FAB-3000 aerial bomb weighing over three tons and equipped with a planning and correction module (UMPK), sources in the power structures inform the TASS state agency.
Footballs showing the use of the bomb were released by the Telegram channel Fighterbomber, close to Russian military circles. Rob Li, a leading Western military expert and senior fellow at the US-based Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, also shared the video on his X Network (formerly Twitter) account.
According to the TASS source, the target of the attack was a point for the temporary deployment of the Ukrainian military in the village of Liptsi, Kharkiv region. The published footage shows that the bomb did not hit the three-story building, which was probably the target, but exploded next to it.

Western military analysts note that Russia has begun to actively use old aerial bombs equipped with modern planning and correction modules against Ukrainian positions. This tactic leads not only to the destruction of the fortifications of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but also to the almost complete destruction of the settlements where they are located.
During the advance of the Russian army in the city of Volchansk, Kharkiv region, most of the buildings in the settlement were destroyed.
