"There will be no renegotiation of the negotiating framework, nor of the Treaty of Friendship with Bulgaria. These contracts are a fact". This was stated by the American ambassador in Skopje, Angela Ageler, NOVA reported.
„I want to be extremely clear. The Prespa Agreement is historic for this country. I know it was very difficult for many people in the country to accept the name. But it is an international treaty that was accepted by the government of the day and the international community accepted it. Of course, we were part of this process and supported it. This allowed the Republic of Macedonia to join NATO and advance to the European Union, Ageler said in an interview for "Free Europe".
Regarding the contract with Bulgaria, she stated the following: “These contracts have already been made. There will be no renegotiation of Prespa or progress towards the EU. This is very clear“, emphasized Ambassador Ageler.
Regarding the appointment of the scandalous leader of the Serbs in the RSM, Ivan Stoilkovic, as deputy prime minister, who is considered close to Moscow, the American diplomat pointed out: “I do not know him personally, I do not know to what extent the positions of the new deputy prime minister are changing. with the previous period. Yesterday I met with the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense. I had excellent conversations with both of them about Ukraine. They gave me guarantees for the support of Ukraine along the lines of NATO. I am now convinced that when they visit Washington in the coming weeks, they will repeat this position.
