The average salary in Serbia has exceeded 100,000 dinars and is already 855 euros according to the data for the month of May, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced on his Instagram account , adding that only ten years ago the average salary was 330 euros. According to him, this shows that Serbia is on the right track.
We have received data for the month of May on the average salary in the Republic of Serbia in many of our cities. In Belgrade, the average salary is 1,075 euros, in Novi Sad - 982 euros, in Nis - 813 euros and is close to the average for the country, Vucic said in a video address on Instagram and emphasized that in Bor, where there is a large copper mine, the average salary is 1025 euros.
He added that good investments and visionary policies are yielding results.
Vucic said that by the end of the year the average salary will be over 900 euros, and next year it will be over 1,000 euros.
„We have to work even more, harder, because we know and see that we can, because Serbia can take big steps forward,” said Vucic.
He appealed to the citizens to unite in order to reach the goals of 1,400 euros for the average salary and 650 euros for the pension by 2027.
