By order of acting governor Alexey Smirnov, a regional state of emergency was introduced in the region to eliminate the consequences of the entry of enemy forces into the territory of the Kursk region. He added that until the operational situation improves, he will personally coordinate the work of the forces of the Unified State System for the Prevention and Liquidation of Emergency Situations. “I remind you that the operational staff under my leadership keeps the situation under personal control.
