The European Union does not plans to send its military instructors to Ukraine. This was stated by the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security, Josep Borrell.
"Sending instructors is not on our agenda. We are discussing the creation of a coordination center in Ukraine, but there is no talk of sending instructors", he specified before the informal meeting of the defense ministers of the EU countries in Brussels.
In addition, the diplomat revealed that the number of Ukrainian soldiers trained in the EU will be increased.
"We will discuss how to expand the training of Ukrainian servicemen. The goal was to train 60,000, it will increase that figure. This is the most effective training mission of the European Union", he pointed out.
