US President Joe Biden will discuss with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer the issue of authorization for strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) against Russia with long-range weapons provided by Washington and London. This was announced by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken at a press conference, the world media reported, as quoted by Focus.
"We will be watching and listening (Ukrainian representatives – ed. note) and also making sure we have our own best assessment of what is needed, what the Ukrainian partners' goals are for the coming weeks and months and how we will be able to support them in the best possible way”, explained Washington's first diplomat, commenting on the possibility of Kiev striking with long-range weapons deep into Russian territory.
Blinken noted that Biden and Starmer will be given positions on the matter for further discussion.
"I fully expect that to be part of their conversation on Friday,”, he added.
