The US military said it had completed its withdrawal from Niger, Reuters reported , quoted by BTA.
In April, the West African country's ruling junta ordered the US to withdraw nearly 1,000 troops.
Before the coup, Niger was a key US partner in the fight against insurgents in Africa's Sahel region, who have killed thousands of people.
The US withdrawal from Niger was carried out in stages, with US forces and assets withdrawing from Air Force Base 101 in Niamey on July 7 and Air Force Base 201 in Agadez on August 5.
"For the past decade, U.S. troops have trained Nigerien forces and supported partner-led counterterrorism missions of the "Islamic State" and "Al Qaeda" in the region", US forces said in a statement.
