Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told the country's parliament today, that if his "plan to win" implemented immediately, the war with Russia may end no later than next year, Reuters reported.
The plan depends on immediate action and unity among Ukraine's partners and aims to strengthen the country's position enough to end the war, he said, presenting the plan to Ukrainian lawmakers.
Zelensky rejected the idea of ceding territory to Russia or accepting a front-line freeze.
"Russia must lose the war against Ukraine. There can be no "freezing" (on the front line). There can be no exchange affecting the territory of Ukraine or its sovereignty," he stressed to the deputies.
Kiev and its allies must "force Russia to participate in a high-level peace meeting and be ready to end the war," Zelensky added.
The Ukrainian president condemned the support of China, North Korea and Iran for Russian military actions.
"The coalition of criminals, with Putin, now includes North Korea. Everyone sees the Iranian regime's support for Putin. The same applies to China's cooperation with Russia," Zelensky said.
Pyongyang is de facto participating in the war on the side of Moscow, the Ukrainian president stressed. He noted that Ukrainian intelligence services have confirmed that North Korea supplies Russia not only with weapons, but also with people.
