Two Russian strategic bombers conducted a scheduled flight over neutral waters in the Black Sea, Reuters reported, as cites a statement from the Russian Defense Ministry.
The Tu-22 M3 planes flew for over 5 hours, accompanied by Su-30SM and Su-27 fighters.
Another two Tu-95 MS strategic bombers conducted a scheduled flight over neutral waters in the Barents Sea that lasted about 4 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry said in a previous announcement.
The ministry noted that its crews regularly conduct flights over neutral waters in the Arctic, the North Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea, TASS notes.
"All flights of Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft are conducted in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace,", according to the same source.
