Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today determined the issuance of The International Criminal Court (ICC) issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Galant as "bravely decision", reported France Press, quoted by BTA.
"We support the arrest warrant. We believe it is important that this bold decision be implemented by all parties to the agreement in order to restore the trust of humanity in the international system," the Turkish head of state said during a speech in Istanbul.
On Thursday, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan called it an “extremely important step” the decision of the ICC to issue an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and Galant.
„This decision is an extremely important step towards bringing to justice the Israeli responsible persons who committed genocide against the Palestinians,” Fidan wrote on the social network “X”.
Judges from the International Criminal Court on November 21 issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Galant, as well as the leader of "Hamas" Ibrahim al-Masri, because of suspicions of war crimes and crimes against humanity, world agencies reported.
