Norway's Ministry of Defense announced today that it will deploy F-35 fighter jets and NASAMS air defense systems (NASAMS) to a logistics center in Poland , who coordinates military aid to Ukraine, Reuters reported, BTA reported.
From the beginning of December, Norway will defend the airspace over the “Rzeszów“ airport. and will send about 100 military personnel, as well as air defense systems and fighter jets, the department said in a statement.
„Ukraine continues to experience a critical need for military support and Poland is the most important logistics hub … In this way, Norway contributes to ensuring that aid to Ukraine reaches its destination,” said Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram.
