The United States has granted Poland a $4 billion loan to finance armament programs, Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Koszyniak-Kamiś announced today, quoted by the Polish news agency PAP, BTA reported.
„We have another loan agreement from the United States, which supports the rapid transformation of the Polish Armed Forces within the framework of the Foreign Financing for Military Needs program“, Koszyniak-Kamiś wrote on the social network “Ex“.
„Already $4 billion, and in total the United States has offered Poland over $11 billion to finance armament programs, including the “Patriot“ air defense systems and the Apache helicopters, the Polish Minister of Defense noted.
„This serves as yet another proof of the great trust and strong Polish-American alliance“, he said.
