Five rockets were fired from the northern Gaza Strip at Israel, the Israeli military said, as quoted by DPA and BTA.
Two of the rockets were intercepted, while the others are believed to have fallen in open terrain.
Air raid sirens sounded in the Israeli city of Sderot, northeast of the Gaza Strip. Police said fragments of the rockets fell in two areas of the city, but there were no reports of casualties.
Palestinian militants have carried out similar attacks for the third day in a row. According to media reports, eight rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip since Friday, with the shots coming from the town of Beit Hanoun in the northeastern part of the territory.
