Mini-war in Kursk region: Ukraine's big trump card - 1

Pavlo Narozhny, founder of the charitable organization "Reactive Mail" and a military expert, tells Radio NV what he knows about the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region.

"In fact, there is not much information from the Kursk region. And all the unofficial information, DeepState format, is delayed by at least two or three days. "I think that within a week we will see and hear some interesting news from there," commented Narozhnyi.

He also suggests that the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region are aimed at forcing Russia to redirect forces from other directions.

"These are distracting, limiting actions so that the enemy from other parts of the front (from Kupyansk, which is near Kursk) can transfer troops there and repel our offensive in the Kursk region."

Overall, Narozhnyi defines the Kursk operation as one of Ukraine's "big trump cards":

"This is one of the successful operations in which we showed our strength, in which we showed our ability to conduct successful, bold operations. And the success of this operation is measured by the fact that we still hold this bridgehead, we have pinned down there about 50-60 thousand enemy personnel, who, if they were not there, not in Kursk, would be near Pokrovsk and the pressure there would be much greater.“

The Ukrainian armed forces have launched a new offensive in some areas of the Kursk region. First, several Russian military commentators reported this, and then the fact was confirmed by the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Andriy Kovalenko.
