Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, have carried out a "precision strike" on the Bryansk chemical plant in the city of Seltso, Ukrainian Channel 24 reports. According to information from the AFU, the plant is a strategic facility for the Russian military-industrial industry, cited by Focus.
The Seltso plant produces gunpowder, explosives and components for rocket fuel, including ammunition for artillery, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), aviation and Kh-59 cruise missiles. In addition, it produces TOS-1 weapons and "Zemledeliy" remote mining systems. According to the report of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, a major overhaul of the Grad, Uragan and Tornado-G MLRS is also being carried out there.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation emphasize that the successful operation was possible thanks to excellent coordination between intelligence, missile troops, missile artillery and unmanned systems.
"The unmanned aerial vehicles successfully distracted the attention of Russian air defense, which allowed the missiles to hit the main targets. The long-range drones destroyed substations and other important infrastructure after the missile strike," the Armed Forces added.
