Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto expressed confidence that the “pro-war and pro-migration madness“ is ending, which means the advent of an “era of peace, security and national sovereignty“, reports BTA.
Trump, according to Szijjarto, is already sending messages that correspond to the basic principles of Hungarian foreign policy.
Fighting against migration and crazy gender ideology
Minister Szijjarto emphasized Hungary's priorities in recent years, which include the fight to reject forced migration and against the infusion of gender ideology into society. These issues coincide with the positions that the new American president also expresses, according to him.
“He thinks like us“ and shares these perceptions, Szijjártó noted. Hungary plans to continue to stand by its convictions on these important topics and not face external pressure to accept illegal migrants or follow global social trends.
Strategy of economic neutrality and security in Europe
In addition, Hungary will follow a strategy of “economic neutrality“, which will allow it to maintain high investment growth and provide jobs for everyone. The country aims to strengthen its security and social models by placing the family as the main pillar of society.
Despite domestic political ambitions, Hungary plans to play an active role in Europe, upholding national sovereignty and opposing any attempts to undermine these principles.
