According to the report of the Ukrainian General Staff for the end of the day on January 22, Russian forces are still concentrating their main efforts in the Pokrovsk area, where about two-thirds of all battles along the entire front line are being fought on Wednesday.

In its latest report, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine states that since the beginning of the day it has counted 67 battles along the entire front line, with 44 of them taking place or continuing in the Pokrovsk area of the Donetsk region.
According to the summary, the Russians attacked in various places along a long section of the front - from Mirolyubovka east of Pokrovsk to Kotlin southwest of it. The General Staff indicates that Ukrainian units have repelled 41 of the 44 attacks, and at the time of writing, three more battles are still being fought.
As usual, the General Staff is silent about any Russian offensive.
In recent days, Ukrainian military blogs have reported that the AFU garrison in Velika Novoselska is in an extremely difficult situation, in a Russian pocket with a very narrow neck, and in addition, the Russians have almost completely captured the ruins of Toretsk - only the mine dump on the northern outskirts of the city and a small area around it remain under the control of the AFU.
The AFU General Staff does not write anything on this issue, but only very briefly reports on a certain amount of fighting in both areas.
