A heavy blow to Russia's back! Ukrainian drones hit an arms depot in the Tver region - 1

Drones attacked a depot with missiles, guided bombs and artillery ammunition in the village of Oktyabrskoye in the Tver region, Russia, Ukrinform reported, citing the Telegram channel "Astra", BTA reports.

Governor Igor Rudenya reported that last night the Tver region was attacked by at least 29 drones.

According to "Astra" (a Russian-language publication that defines itself as independent and monitors the course of the war in Ukraine - ed. note) more than 20 drones hit an arms depot of the 23rd missile and artillery arsenal of the Russian Ministry of Defense, as well as a neighboring military unit in the village of Oktyabrskoye, Toropetsk municipality.

Although there were no ammunition in the depot at the time of the strike, the facility was damaged, along with three other buildings of the military unit.

In parallel, drones also attacked the "Andreapol" oil pumping station of the Russian company "Transneft-Baltika". The station is part of the route for exporting Russian oil through the Baltic port of Ust-Luga, Reuters notes. The strike caused material damage to the pumping station, resulting in an oil leak and a fire.

A source from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) also gave Reuters the same information about the strike on the oil facility.

A Reuters source from "Transneft-Baltika" told the agency that the strike caused minimal damage and that there were no disruptions to oil transportation.

The "Andreapol" oil pumping station, built in 1982, is one of the largest oil facilities in the Tver region. It plays an important role in the transportation of black gold and maintaining infrastructure along the Surgut-Polotsk oil pipeline route.

Earlier today, the Ukrainian army announced that it had attacked an oil refinery in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region. In recent months, Kiev's forces have stepped up attacks on Russian military and energy infrastructure to increase the cost to Moscow of continuing the war ahead of the anniversary of the start of the full-scale invasion next month, Reuters notes.
