The possibility of a conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky cannot be ruled out. This opinion was expressed by the Ukrainian ambassador to Poland Vasyl Bodnar in an interview with TVN 24.
„This cannot be ruled out", the ambassador answered a question about the possibility of a conversation between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine.
According to Bodnar, Zelensky is ready for negotiations to reach a peace agreement. At the same time, he emphasized that peace should be „not at the expense of Kiev“, but under the formula of „peace through force“.
On February 6, Zelensky said that he was ready for negotiations, provided that it is completely clear how the conflict for Ukraine will end. He added that the European Union (EU) countries and the United States believe that diplomacy is impossible without the participation of Russia and Putin.
