A gramophone abandoned in an intercity express train has sparked a police operation at Altona station in the German city of Hamburg, DPA reported, quoted by BTA.
Police said the entire platform at the northern city's railway junction was cordoned off after the package was discovered by a train employee.
A bomb disposal team examined the package and soon gives reassuring signal: box contains old gramophone.
The security operation ended around noon.
The device was handed over to railway officials as lost property.
