A drone was shot down over the Moscow region and fell on the territory of a summer residence in the Ramensky urban district, the governor of the Moscow region Andrei Vorobyov announced on his official Telegram channel. A 75-year-old woman was injured in the incident and taken to hospital. Three cottages in the "Malinovka" gardening association were damaged, News.bg reports.
The incident is part of a series of nighttime drone attacks in the region. According to Vorobyev, a total of 10 drones were shot down over the Moscow region last night, including in the areas of Domodedovo airport, Podolsk, Istra, Ruza, Odintsovo, Mozhaisk and Naro-Fominsk.
In the Istra district, a drone damaged the facade and glazing of a residential building. There is currently no information about other casualties.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin earlier confirmed the attacks, but without giving details. Governor Vorobyev said that all the drones were neutralized by air defense systems and there is no threat to the population.
