US Attorney General Pam Bondi is investigating whether there was fraud in the 2020 election, President Donald Trump said on his social network Truth Social.
“The 2020 election was fraudulent and stolen, and they tried to do the same in 2024. That is what Bondi is investigating as Attorney General“, Trump wrote.
In 2020, Trump did not recognize the election results and Joe Biden's victory. A mob of his supporters stormed the Capitol in January 2021 to prevent the results from being approved.
The Republican was charged with incitement to rebellion and faced a real trial. After Trump won the 2024 election, the cases were dropped.
