The Russian national airline "Aeroflot" has suffered losses of at least 250 million rubles (about $2.7 million) after the hacker attack, which led to the cancellation or delay of 42% of the company's flights.
The huge losses that "Aeroflot" suffered were calculated for just 24 hours after the attack.

Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Transport issued an official position warning that the partial restoration of the airline's IT systems could take up to two months, while the full elimination of the consequences would take about a year.
Officially, two groups claimed responsibility for the hacker attack - the Ukrainian Silent Crow and the Belarusian "Cyber Partisans".
According to their claims, the entire operation had been prepared for over a year, and its idea was to show "the price of the Putin regime's war".
From the published position of the two hacker groups, it became clear that the attack on "Aeroflot" was seriously facilitated by the fact that the company was still using the Windows XP operating system, and the CEO had not changed his personal password since 2022.
