Turkey reported a record in its exports to Germany and announced that its economy is successfully going through the stabilization process and is becoming stronger, the Anadolu Agency reported, quoted by BTA.
Data presented by the Turkish Export Agency show that exports for the month of August 2025 recorded a growth of 4.3 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 178.1 billion dollars.
With sales in the period January-August 2025, which amounted to 13.1 billion dollars, Turkey set a record in exports to Germany. At the same time, the data show a growth of 9.4 percent, since for the same period last year exports to Germany were estimated at 11.9 billion dollars. This is also the country to which Turkey exports the most, followed by the UK with exports worth $9 billion, the US with exports worth $8.5 billion, Italy with exports worth $8.2 billion and Spain, where goods worth $6.8 billion arrive from Turkey.
The analysis of exports by sector shows that cars are the most exported product from Turkey to Germany. In numerical terms, this amounts to $4.3 billion. In second place with exports of $1.9 billion are clothing and ready-made garments, followed by metals for $1 billion and electronic devices and electrical engineering for nearly $900 million.
Export statistics by city rank Istanbul in first place with exports of $5.1 billion, Bursa with exports of $1.7 billion, Kocaeli with exports of $1.6 billion, Izmir with $954.3 million and Ankara with $674.8 million.
