The largest party represented in parliament in the 52nd National Assembly - "Progressive Bulgaria" has set itself two ambitious tasks. In front of journalists upon entering the National Assembly, the elected MP from the Progressive Bulgaria, Petar Vitanov, emphasized that the first task of the first of the elections is related to the economy, people's wallets and anti-crisis measures.

The second task - fairness, justice and reform in the judicial system, news.bg specified.

When asked whether they intend to raise taxes in the new state budget, Vitanov said that in the economic program of "Progressive Bulgaria" no change to the tax system is planned.

"It is important to see what is the state in which we find this country, the state of public finances and the state of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) are important," Vitanov pointed out.

In his words, the tax system is a great tool for redistribution, which Bulgaria needs, but in a global crisis situation, turbulent times, taxes are not touched. We will currently try to make them more effectively utilized and more fairly collected, he pointed out.

Vitanov commented that large businesses always find a way to escape corporate tax and small and medium-sized companies suffer.

According to Petar Vitanov, the commitments under the PVU are far behind and in two months, if the last payments are not completed, we will not be able to benefit from the money.

He noted that anything related to the PVU must be urgently addressed.
