Time is running out for changes in Glavchev's project cabinet

Until this evening, Dimitar Glavchev, who has been nominated for acting prime minister, has the right to change the ministers proposed by him, BNT reported. The deadline for this expires today, after President Rumen Radev has already announced that he will issue decrees on the appointment of the caretaker government and the scheduling of "2 in 1" elections. on Tuesday.

After presenting his nominations for ministers on Friday, Glavchev commented that he did not see anyone who would convince him to make changes in his proposed cabinet composition. He refused to comment on the sharp reaction of the PP-DB against his proposed ministers of the interior, justice and e-government. But he admitted that he hesitated the most whether to leave the Minister of Internal Affairs Kalin Stoyanov in office.

Over the weekend, the resigned Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov appealed to Glavchev to think again about Kalin Stoyanov. And from "We continue the change" called on President Rumen Radev not to sign the decree for the appointment of a cabinet. Meanwhile, citizens are expected to protest in front of the Ministry of the Interior this evening, demanding the resignation of Kalin Stoyanov.

The nominations of Maria Pavlova as justice and Valentin Mundrov as minister of e-governance also caused indignation among the PP-DB, and they left the hall.
