Kiril Petkov: Negotiations for a vote of no confidence will begin after July 9

For the first time, we will sit together with the other 20 countries and together we will share the sovereignty of our monetary policy

We have taken a huge step forward for Bulgaria to enter the heart of Europe. From "Continuing the change" we have set the path - that in order for Bulgaria to be a prosperous, normal European country with the rule of law, Bulgaria must be in the heart of Europe and Bulgaria must be against corruption, said the co-chair of the PP Kiril Petkov at a press conference together with Assen Vassilev and Nikolay Denkov.

"For the first time, we will sit together with the other 20 countries and together we will share the sovereignty of our monetary policy. The investments that we expect to enter Bulgaria are growing at a huge rate. For business, this is very big news. We also expect a growth in tourism, unseen in our modern history, as was seen in Croatia after its entry into the eurozone", Petkov also said.

According to him, it also became clear that after July 9 they will start working on their second major goal - the fight against corruption. "Negotiations for a vote of no confidence will begin after July 9, when the adoption of the euro in our country becomes irreversible", he pointed out.

According to Petkov, the conversation with "Democratic Bulgaria" is not about whether there is a reason for a vote, but when the date for it should be.
