A case is being filed in North Macedonia against Dimche Yamandiyev. This was confirmed to FAKTI by the victim himself. As is known, several cases are being filed in North Macedonia against people who openly express and defend their Bulgarian identity. One of them is against the head of the forcibly closed Bulgarian cultural club "Ivan Mihaylov" in Bitola, Lyubcho Georgievski. He has been held accountable on charges of "creating hatred on the Internet".

Another case is being filed against Dragi Karov - a man who has never hidden that he is Bulgarian. His home in Veles is a place of memory - with a Bulgarian flag painted on the roof and busts of the heroes Todor Alexandrov and Vanche Mihaylov, which today makes him “dangerous“ in the eyes of the authorities.

“I'm stopping them because I'm Bulgarian and I speak! The “Ilinden“ association is stopping them! A few days ago I received a summons from the Basic Court in Delchevo, according to which I have to appear as a defendant in a case for “traffic violation“. But the truth is this - I have never been stopped by the police in Delchevo. I have not signed any act, I have not received a notice. The document contains a fake number plate on a traffic ticket that is not mine. I have never had a Macedonian driver's license! I have never had a car in my name. And, according to them - the prosecution, they have established that the car is mine. My lawyer told me that if I do not appear, an order will be issued for my forced arrival and possible search. And all this based on completely fabricated circumstances. I'm stopping them because I am not silent. I hinder them because I expose them. I hinder them because the “Ilinden“ Association gives a voice to Bulgarians and stands up for historical truth. This is not justice. This is repression. But I will not back down. I will speak. I will fight. And I will not remain silent“, Dimche Yamandiev, chairman of the “Ilinden“ Association, told FAKTI.
