Denyo Denev is acting chairman of the State Security Agency. This became clear before the start of the meeting of the Committee for Control of Security Services, BNT reported.
Denev will be heard in connection with the investigation of Hristo Grozev, which alleges that the Russian GRU is conducting hybrid and disinformation campaigns in Bulgaria.
Until now, Denev was deputy chairman of the State Agency “National Security“. Last Wednesday, the current chairman of the State Security Agency, Plamen Tonchev, was elected head of the Commission on Files.
