The Commission for the Protection of Competition, the National Revenue Agency and the Consumer Protection Commission are uniting against unfair traders who will use the introduction of the euro, as well as the period until January 1, 2026, to unreasonably increase the prices of the goods and services they offer.
To this end, the three institutions will sign a cooperation agreement that will regulate and synchronize their actions in order to guarantee the protection of consumers, producers and traders, as well as to ensure a competitive market environment. Representatives of the three institutions are expected to announce additional measures in case of established violations.
