A 33-year-old man from the village of Semchinovo in the Septemvri municipality has been detained for beating a minor boy, the Ministry of Interior reports.
The child's grandmother filed a police report that the man had hit her grandson several times on Tuesday. A patrol car was immediately sent to the scene, who found and detained the beater, BTA reported.
The investigation established that the man had entered the building of the local primary school, where he hit the boy. The reason was most likely a fight between the injured child and the attacker's son.
The man was detained for up to 24 hours. Pre-trial proceedings have been initiated. The case continues under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
