BMW Group and Tata Technologies have announced a software and information technology joint venture in Pune, Bangalore and Chennai, embodying the vision of “Engineering solutions from India to the world”.
The joint venture will leverage Tata Technologies' digital expertise to contribute to the strategic expansion of BMW Group's software development capabilities in global IT centers.
The new joint venture will focus on strategic software development, including software-driven vehicle (SDV) solutions. In the area of automotive software, the focus will be on automated driving, infotainment systems and digital services.
