The Italian boutique car manufacturer Automobili Pininfarina showed its new Battista Reversario, created on the basis of the extremely rare and one of the most expensive electric cars on the planet Battista Anniversario .
In addition to being the most expensive electric car, the Battista Reversario is also the fastest accelerating electric car. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.79 seconds. The manufacturer does not pursue mass production.
The largest batches of his electric cars don't exceed the number of fingers on one hand. In total, during the entire period, a little over a hundred cars of various models were produced, each of which was not only exceptional, but also set several world records.
For example, Automobili Pininfarina's first electric car, named after the founder (2018) Battista Hyper GT, set six world records: four for speed, one for mileage and one for stopping distance.
If you weren't surprised enough by the speed and mileage, then the braking distance deserves separate attention and will definitely intrigue everyone. The complete stop of the Battista Reversario from 100 km/h to 0 takes place in just 31 meters, which is again a world record.
As for the number, the next and even more exclusive version of the Battista is again limited to only five pieces. Here, all components are handmade. The paint is also exceptional. Each of these five cars is priced differently, with the minimum being approximately $2.9 million.
Last summer, the manufacturer introduced a one-of-a-kind variant of the Battista called the Edizione, dedicated to the first Formula 1 champion Nino Farini. This car is also limited to five units.
In addition to the Battista, a unique concept called Pura Vision appeared. The price of this supercar is a staggering 4.4 million euros ($4.78 million), which immediately catapulted it to the position of the most expensive electric car on the planet.
Now Automobili Pininfarina with its unique version of its flagship Hyper GT - Battisa Reversario, has again amazed everyone. This car is expected to be even more expensive. The company showed the first images of the Battista Reversario and a video of the journey together with the Anniversario.
Specifications and exact final price have not yet been revealed. Speaking of the current masterpiece, the automaker only deliberately teased that the new Hyper GT was custom-made for a previous customer who already owns one of the five existing Battista Anniversarios.
