The compact electric crossover Kia EV3 will feature a customized design and high-tech interior. The model will be available in front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions, and its autonomous range on a single charge will be up to 500 km.
Photos of the Kia EV3 have already surfaced online, though the compact electric crossover will be officially unveiled on May 23 and production will begin in the second half of this year.
From the photos, it can be seen that the new Kia EV3 retains the original design of last year's pre-series concept car, which is characterized by interesting "broken" lines and with extended fenders, thin LED headlights in the spirit of the Kia EV5 and EV9 models.
The rear door handles are hidden in the roof pillars. The GT-Line variant will have more aggressive bumpers. In the salon, there will be two displays mounted on the front panel. The seats in the first row will be separated by an interesting central console on two levels.
The 2025 Kia EV3 electric car will be built on the E-GMP platform with a 400-volt architecture. The standard model will have front-wheel drive, while the GT-Line variant may have all-wheel drive.
The electric crossover Kia EV3 is expected to receive lithium-iron-phosphate batteries with a capacity of 64 and 82 kWh. The mileage in the most tuned version will reach 500 km. The starting price of the Kia EV3 will be under 30,000 euros.
The new Kia EV3 won't be the brand's only cheaper electric car. The South Korean manufacturer is already preparing a whole family of affordable electric cars.
