It's too early to judge whether or not BMW's design is on the mend. However, a chance for a positive answer is given by the latest concepts from Munich, among which are the Neue Klasse sedan and crossover.
It is precisely in the style of these prototypes that a new sports model has been created, which is expected to be officially presented in 2025. The most curious thing is that it is still not completely clear which model it is.
But judging by spy photos and unconfirmed information, a relatively small sports car is being prepared in Munich. Could this be the successor to the legendary M1?
Or is it more likely that we are talking about a battery version of the BMW i2 Coupe? We're leaning towards the electric version. Considering the car has no brake calipers visible in the spy shots, it's likely the electric hub motors are hidden inside the wheels.
Among the interesting design features of the model, the branded "kidneys", combined with the headlights in one block, make an impression. Also worth noting is the air intake in the rear fenders, as well as the hidden door handles.
It is also interesting that the rear optics are in the same style as the front. In general, minimalism and laconic design deserve the warmest words. After the detail-laden modern BMWs, this is a breath of fresh air. Looking forward to the serial version.
