Dacia has reached an important milestone in the sales of its cars by selling its millionth car running on liquefied petroleum gas, known to us as propane-butane or by the abbreviation LPG.
Since the first models with this technology appeared in 2010, Dacia has become one of the first brands in the modern automotive industry to offer cars with a dual fuel system — LPG and gasoline, at the same time - factory.
Today, Dacia, together with Renault, is one of the few car manufacturers that offer LPG cars without the need for additional AGU installation.
Popular models with Eco-G100 engine are Sandero, Logan, Duster and Jogger. All these cars have a ring-shaped gas tank that does not take up space in the trunk, which makes them extremely convenient to use.
Thus, Dacia managed to conquer 67% of the European LPG market in the first seven months of this year, and more than 40% of buyers choose the Eco-G engine, confirming the growing demand for ecological and economical vehicles, but without electrification.
