The Renault Twingo will soon return to the market. The subcompact hatchback will go on sale from 2026 at a price of 20,000 euros, representing a small city electric car.
The production version of the model was shown at the Brussels Motor Show, and details about it were revealed on Renault's website. But what is clear at first glance is that the new Renault Twingo E-Tech is a modern version of the first-generation model.
It is very reminiscent of the original Renault Twingo from 1992 - it has a characteristic silhouette with a large angle of inclination of the windshield and semi-circular headlights and taillights. However, the optics in the car are LED, and the new hatchback has five doors, not three.
A panoramic glass roof has been installed instead of the soft-folding one familiar to us from the past. In the interior of the Renault Twingo 2026, the embossed design of the front panel has been preserved, but a modern digital instrument panel and a 10.1-inch touch screen have been installed.
The hatchback has keyless entry, a camera and climate control. The electric car Renault Twingo is a four-seater. Magnetic mounts for smartphones are made in the backrests of the front seats.
