The police in Sofia are clarifying a case from the afternoon hours of the day in which members of the civil association BOEC entered the building of the Regional Government in Sofia, BNR reported.
The police specified that teams from the Fourth Police Department were sent to the scene. A case has been opened in the Sofia police regarding the incident.
It is expected that the materials on the case will be reported to the Sofia District Prosecutor's Office.
The invasion of representatives of the BOEC association into the building of the Regional Administration in Sofia is a damage to the prestige of the administration, said the regional governor Stefan Arsov on the occasion of their entry into the building in the capital.
Earlier, the association announced in a post on Facebook that they had "broken into and entered" the building of the regional administration to look for Arsov, and later police officers arrived at the scene.
"Today I was on leave and my colleagues signaled that BOEC had invaded the building without prior invitation or arrangement. They did not have a letter or request to meet with me, Arsov pointed out. He added that the association sought answers that could be asked through official channels.
The regional governor also indicated that the Sofia Directorate of Internal Affairs (SDVR) is working on the case. It is not yet possible to say about material damage, but there are intangible ones - damage to the institution's prestige, insults, etc., Arsov indicated.
