The 4-year-old Marty, who was swept away by an ATV on a sidewalk in "Sunny Beach", is in stable condition and has been taken out of intensive care. This was reported by "Pirogov" to Nova TV.
The child has been admitted to the pediatric neurosurgery department of the hospital, where treatment is continuing. Rehabilitation is also being carried out, dariknews.bg adds.
The accident occurred on August 14. Marty was injured after an electric buggy driven by 18-year-old Nikola Burgazliev went onto the sidewalk and swept away five people. Among them was Marty's mother - 35-year-old Hristina, who died in hospital after days of doctors' attempts to save her. The child was initially admitted to the University Hospital - Burgas, but later - transported by medical helicopter to “Pirogov“.
