The decision does not have any consequences for the acting prosecutor general, because there is a deliberate decision of the Prosecutor's College of the Supreme Judicial Council, and it can be overturned by the Supreme Administrative Court, not by the Supreme Administrative Court. This is stated in an official position sent to Nova TV by the state prosecution.
"The decision of the Supreme Administrative Court does not harm Sarafov, but the victims in criminal cases, including the decisions of the acting prosecutor Prosecutor General to move the investigation into Siyana's death to Sofia, as well as the National Investigation Agency taking over the case of the ATV accident in "Sunny Beach", the Prosecutor's Office also said.
As it became clear, earlier today the Supreme Court of Cassation stated that they refused to initiate proceedings on Sarafov's requests, since his mandate as Acting Prosecutor General has expired.
