The train drivers who ran over a man at Mezdra station have tested positive for drugs, the police reported.
We recall that on October 12, a signal was filed by a dispatcher on duty at Mezdra railway station, who reported the man.
The 49-year-old man was part of the staff of a train. When the train entered the station area, he tried to get off the locomotive before the train stopped and fell under the wheels of the carriage.
The man died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital. Both drivers were tested for alcohol and drugs.
One of the drivers tested positive for cannabis and methamphetamine, and the other tested positive for methamphetamine.
