Today, December 5, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., the Minister of Agriculture and Food, Dr. Georgi Tahov, will open the National Fish Fest in Sofia. The event is organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and is dedicated to the promotion of fish and fish products, as well as support for Bulgarian fishermen, producers and processors.
Its goal is to bring society closer to the fishing sector in an accessible, interactive and family-friendly way, by creating greater publicity for the sector's activities, expanding sales opportunities and ensuring direct contact with consumers.
The festival takes place from 10:00 to 19:00 at “Gina Kuncheva“ Square, next to the monument to Vasil Levski, Sofia.
