Next week, due to marking, the organization of traffic will be temporarily changed on sections of the "Hemus" and "Struma" highways and the I-8 road in the Sofia region, dariknews.bg reported.
There will also be temporary changes on "Trakia" due to the construction of a "window" in the median strip, the "Road Infrastructure" Agency announced.
"Hemus"
From December 8 to 12 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the section from 14th to 71st km of the “Hemus“ highway, in both directions, the passage in the active lane will be limited and the traffic will be redirected to the free lanes.
“Struma“
From December 8 to 12, work will also be carried out from km 0 to 10th km of the “Struma“ highway in both directions. Traffic on the highway will be carried out in the free lanes. Marking will also be laid in a 14-kilometer section of the I-8 Sofia - Pazardzhik road between 89th and 103rd km.
From December 6 to 10, activities will be carried out to improve the drainage in the section of “Struma“ in the Pernik region. From 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. work will be carried out in the section from 10 to 37 km at the "Dolna Dikanya" substation in both lanes of the motorway. Access to the emergency lane will be gradually limited to accommodate the necessary equipment, and the activities will be carried out under suitable weather conditions. When carrying out the planned activities, traffic will move to the active and speed lanes.
From 8 a.m. on December 7 to 6 p.m. on December 8, the passage in the section from 144 to 152 km of the "Struma" motorway in Blagoevgrad district will be carried out gradually in one lane and with a speed limit of 90 km/h. The temporary change in the traffic organization is for repair activities on the asphalt pavement. It is planned that the construction and installation works will be carried out gradually in the overtaking and active lanes in both lanes.
„Trakia“
From December 9 to 11, the organization of traffic will be temporarily changed in the area of the 275th km of the „Trakia“ highway in the Yambol region. It is necessary for asphalt works during the construction of a „window“ in the median strip of the highway. It will ensure the transition from one lane to the other during the upcoming repair of joints on a bridge structure in the section.
The planned activities will be in the Burgas lane and during their implementation, traffic in the overtaking lane will be limited, with traffic moving to the active lane.
Republican Road Sofia - Samokov
From December 8, due to the collapse of slopes, traffic from the 62nd to 80th km of road II-82 Sofia - Samokov. The activities are planned to be carried out at intervals of 20 minutes. During the work, vehicles will wait in place and will be allowed to pass during the specified periods.
Traffic will be regulated by signalmen and road signs. Under favorable weather conditions, the work in the section is planned to be completed by December 12.
