There was tension and protest today in Vratsa, NOVA reported.
Those dissatisfied with the state government marched along the city's pedestrian zone and reached the municipality. Another group supported the mayor, "his right to personal space". The reason - during the previous dissatisfaction in the city, protesters gathered in front of the home of Mayor Kalin Kamenov.
The first protest is organized because of dissatisfaction with the state government. According to Desislava Bercheva, who is among the dissatisfied, there are things in the country that need to change. "I want my children to stay here, to work, to live, to create better days for me, for my parents and for them", she added.
Another group of people gathered in another place claiming to defend the mayor after the protest at the end of last week ended up under the windows of his home. Nikola Zhivkov, who is among the demonstrators, said that they wanted to protect the mayor in his right to personal space, which is inviolable under our Constitution.
And while the protesters against the state government were still gathering, the mayor of the city came to them, accompanied by people from the counter-protest.
After tense arguments, the protesters went to the municipality. There they held a rally, and the mayor said that at the beginning of the business week he would file a complaint against the people who threatened his family.
