Bulgarian diplomat Nikolay Mladenov will head the Gaza leadership, according to a publication in the "Financial Times".
As part of the post-war management structure for Gaza, an executive committee will be created, which will be headed by the former UN envoy for the Middle East and former Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolay Mladenov, sources familiar with the preparations claim.
The publication recalls that Mladenov has often acted as a mediator between Israel and Hamas. Tony Blair dropped out of the options for managing the committee after objections from Arab and Muslim countries, sources in the "Financial Times" claim.
