His Holiness Bulgarian Patriarch Daniil celebrated the festive Chrysostom Holy Liturgy for the Nativity of Christ in the Patriarchal Cathedral "St. Alexander Nevsky".
“God has given us this great gift - to be with us. We must think about what a high honor it is to erect His image in us, so that man may be like God. Sometimes we greatly devalue ourselves and the people around us, and God has given us such a high dignity - to be sons of God", Patriarch Daniel told the media, quoted by "Focus".
The Patriarch also said that a person should strive to acquire the gifts that God has brought us - his divine peace, his divine condescension and humility, his divine love.
"Do we have these gifts, these benefactors - this is godliness. And man will truly be with him and we will not cease to enjoy his peace and grace. For many and blessed years!", he added.
